We have decided to start a SLAM group and Blue Ribbon Campaign here at Dawson. Here are some questions I have about what people in different places are doing to raise awareness about Malaria.
If you raise money what type of fundraising do you do?
How are you educating people about things such as the causes of Malaria and the prevention of Malaria.
Where do you go to give presentations about Malaria? Schools, public-meeting places…

We in the adwr project in Assam India. Do health teachings in school with picorial aids, Power point presentations etc.Also at every opportunity at church gatherings, community meetings and village groups we reinforce the message of prvention and the neeed for timely treatment. The students are also asked to participate through poster comperitions, essays, poems to apread malaria awareness.
The blue ribbon clubs in schools also conduct sessions at school assemblies on malaria prevention
